50 Japanese nuclear engineers are staying behind at the Fukushima Power Plant to try and prevent a nuclear meltdown. They are getting the same amount of radiation per hour that a nuclear engineer receives in his/her ENTIRE career. Get these heroes on the front page.

I know that there are now 160 something engineers there working in 50 group shifts. These people are definitely nothing less than heroes.

This is a frame from a short book I illustrated called “It’s Okay If You Stay.” The story is based on an experience I had playing with children at Safe Haven, a Nashville homeless shelter that allows families to stay together.

The finished book was to be printed last May, but because of the flood, that never happened. Hopefully, I will be printing it soon.
